Also, I managed to work the Gulf livery in to my house. T he top floor bedroom is blue and the kitchen is orange, so I painted the stairwell orange (trust me, it’s orange - my cellphone camera kind of washed it out) , keeping the white trim at the top floor level.

Yeah, I like that a lot. I was trying to articulate in that other thread that “there’s been a stream of evolution” in the car schemes... everybody thinks of the mid-1960s LeMans cars, but some of the less-flamboyant combinations are quite beautiful.
I’m quite partial to the early 1960s GM scheme here seen on a 1962 Gulf Team Corvette.

That looks fantastic. The lighter blue is iconic, but it also feels a bit dated.

It’s not Gulf, but my favorite of all F1 versions is the 1995 Le Mans winner, also sponsored by Ueno Clinic.
